We usually recommend a set of 3 BBL appointments, but some individual concerns may require more attention and sessions than others. You will begin to see results in a few days to a week. Yes, there are some important things for you to be aware of after receiving this treatment. For your consideration, please note the post-care notes below:

• Handle your treated areas with care. Be gentle! Do not scratch or pick at your skin.
• Avoid using scented lotions or soaps, exfoliant creams, acne creams or gels, loofa sponges, motorized cleaning devices, and any aggressive scrubbing.
• Avoid using hot or cold water. We recommend washing with room temperature water.
• Don’t shave the treated areas.
• Avoid swimming pools and spas with chemicals like chlorine.
• Avoid activities that cause excessive sweating.
• Use a cold compress for comfort if the treated area feels especially warm. This is typically only needed within 1 to 2 hours a​​fter receiving treatment.Your skin may appear red and swollen and feel a bit like a sunburn. This is a normal reaction and can last a few hours to days after receiving treatment.
• Avoid any sun exposure to the treated area for a minimum of 7 days after the procedure, as well as between treatments. The treated area is more prone to sunburn and pigmentation change. Try to keep the area covered and use a physical sun block with a protection factor of 30+, reapplying every 2 hours.
• Avoid using tanning beds or self-tanning.

BBL is best indicated for evening out skin color (browns and reds) and skin texture issues, as well as diminishing pore size. It is not the gold standard treatment for wrinkles.
